Leadership Development

Overview of the HUNT Leadership Development Program

HUNT Real Estate is committed to developing its human capital and to building a cadre of leaders within

the company. To that end, we offer the Leadership Development Program for current and future leadership. This is a spaced learning program is offered every two years*. It consists of several two-day, in person sessions with webinars in between over approximately six months.

The outcomes for the program include:

  1. Participants will be able to describe their personal leadership style and how to modify it as necessary to effectively lead in a variety of situations.

  2. Participants will be able to effectively define a change process and successfully lead an organizational change.

  3. Participants will develop their skills to complete effective and informative business presentations.

  4. Participants will be familiar with business plan and action plan models used at HREC.

  5. Participants will become develop culturally competent behaviors and attitudes.


Participants will be exposed to a variety of leadership concepts through readings and small group work.

Each participant will complete a capstone group project.


Potential participants are identified by the Hunt Leadership Team and invited to submit an application.


*The next program is tentatively scheduled for Fall 2018.
